Subtitles keep pace with speech
With Engine 2, the app was too cautious about speech it was less sure of. Quiet, accented or noisy speech could sit unshown for a long stretch, then several sentences and their translations would land on screen at once, and some things you said never appeared at all.
Both halves are fixed. What counts as speech was retuned against real sessions, so far less of it is held back, and speech that is held for a second opinion now keeps its place in line, so when it appears its translation is already on the way.
Fixes
- "Translation limit reached" when your allowance was fine. A brief server rate limit and a genuinely spent allowance showed the same message. The app now tells them apart: a rate limit waits and resumes by itself, and only a spent allowance is reported as one.
- Allowance wording no longer refers to weekly or monthly windows that do not exist, and verifying your email is described as restoring your full allowance rather than doubling it.
