Introducing the Unitra AI Blog

A permanent home for release notes, feature deep dives, and engineering write-ups from the team building real-time voice translation for gaming.

Unitra AI ships fast. Voice translation latency has dropped month over month, new languages and games keep landing, and the routing layer that picks a translation model for each request has been rebuilt more than once. Until now, the only public trace of that work was a version number in the updater.

That changes today. This blog is the permanent record of what we ship and why.

What we will publish here

Release posts. Every meaningful client or server release gets a write-up: what changed for you, what changed under the hood, and any known limitations. No more guessing what a version number means.

Feature deep dives. Longer explanations of how a feature actually works, like how speech recognition runs entirely on your device, or what happens to a sentence between your teammate's microphone and your overlay.

Engineering notes. The honest version of the work: measurements, trade-offs, and the occasional postmortem when something breaks. If a change made translations faster, we will show the numbers that prove it.

How to follow along

Every post lands in the RSS feed. Release posts will also be linked from the in-app update notes, so you can always click through from a new version to the full story.

We hold ourselves to a simple standard here: numbers over adjectives, honest scope over marketing gloss, and no silent edits. When a post needs a correction, the correction is dated and visible at the bottom of the page.

See you in the next release.
